It's so easy to make and really does clean and shine my floors!Georgiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16122548763904223694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7930746912146392794.post-63786143266355117752015-11-08T23:53:34.821-08:002015-11-08T23:53:34.821-08:00What I think I like most about your post was your ...What I think I like most about your post was your floor cleaner. I agree that Swiffers use way to many dust rags. I had never heard of the Cedar floor cleaner you described, but I'll definitely be looking into it. The fact that it doesn't even use batteries for the spray is a plus. And a machine washable duster. I understand why you're so excited about it.

German Zollinger @ Total Clean EquipmentAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17274289777023163786noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7930746912146392794.post-87142813537026514752015-02-25T13:57:08.450-08:002015-02-25T13:57:08.450-08:00A good (and easy!) wood cleaner and conditioner is...A good (and easy!) wood cleaner and conditioner is 2 parts olive oil to 1 part lemon juice. Use just a small amount and rub onto wood. It works great on an old teak desk that's been in my family for two generations.

Also, vinegar is a great sanitizer. I use it in the kitchen instead of chlorine bleach. For instance, I spray it onto my counters and let it dry on its own before I knead bread, etc. I also use it in my rinse water when I wash clothes. It cuts the soap residue. I use about a cup.

Baking soda works as a cleanser...but you will probably have to use a bit more "elbow grease" than you are used to when using a store-bought cleanser. But I buy baking soda in bulk and it's cheap!

Those are just a few ideas. I have more ideas in my book "What the Amish Can Teach Us About the Simple Life." In it, there are "recipes" for all sorts of things, as well as homemade personal care products.

Thanks for finding my blog. At last I found your blog dear. This orange-peel infused vinegar solution is an amazing cleaner. I will try this for my home. Anyways, my friend is looking for some domestic house cleaners. Can you share some recommendations?
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08824554255174712779noreply@blogger.com
